Fuel Pump Ballast Resistor: Testing and Inspection
FUEL PUMP RESISTOR INSPECTIONResistance Inspection
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the fuel pump resister.
3. Verify that the continuity between the fuel pump resister terminal A and B is within the specification.
- If not within the specification, replace the fuel resistor.
Fuel pump resistor continuity: 0.304-0.336 ohms (20 Degrees C {68 Degrees F}
