2006 - 2007 MAZDASPEED6 - REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY (RKE) TRANSMITTER SPECIFICATION CHANGE

APPLICABLE MODEL(S)/VINS
2006 - 2007 Mazdaspeed6 vehicles with VINS lower than JM1GG****7*108840 (produced before Nov. 30, 2006) equipped with standard Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system.

DESCRIPTION

The Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system transmitter locking specifications for the doors and trunk have been changed as follows:

NOTE:
Change DOES NOT apply to vehicles equipped with Advanced Keyless Entry/Start System.





NOTE:
If it becomes necessary during a repair to replace the Body Control Module (BCM) on vehicles produced BEFORE Nov. 30, 2006, please advise the customer that the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter operation will change to the "New RKE Transmitter Operation" described above.
